A system and a DIN Technical Rule for remote monitoring for decentralized drinking water treatment plants. It defines the framework conditions for remote monitoring of the operation and the maintenance analysis in decentralized drinking water treatment plants, which can be used for drinking water supply, agricultural applications and aquaculture. The plants are small and medium size, based on reverse osmosis and can be operated as standalone installation without the need for a SCADA system.
